God, it’s hard to believe that Goldfinger’s Hang Ups came out all the way back in 1997. I mean, as it is, I can barely remember what the hell I was doing in ’97 besides getting zits, wearing Metallica T-Shirts and being really short. I think I was in 10th grade but who really cares.
Anyways, Hang Ups was and still is easily my favorite Goldfinger album. It’s one of those albums that I can listen to every song and love them all – a distinction that cannot be made for too many others.
Most people probably remember the song, “Superman” because it was either in some movie or they just happened to listen to alternative radio and it was played just about once an hour. But there were plenty of other great songs on there if you happen to like the poppy punk/ska brand of music for which Goldfinger was famous.
